• Imogen Di Sapia is a designer-maker working across the fields of textile crafts including weaving, costume and puppetry, whilst also creating unique works in the realms of therapeutic storytelling.

    Bright Moon Arts & Crafts;

    studio practice

    Imogen is currently adapting and developing her arts practice during her maternity with two young sons, Oscar (1 year) and Finn (3 years). This has seen a move toward the traditional hand-craft of weaving, which allows the loom to be used on the kitchen table, whist redefining her arts practice as a working-making mother.

    Imogen has developed an aesthetic in freehand weaving and sources naturally hand-dyed and spun yarns from ethical small batch UK producers who keep rare breed sheep, thereby making it possible to trace the yarns back to the individual farm, flock and even the sheep the wool originated from.
